People in the Midwest take a lot of pride in their homes, and ever since Twin Cities houses built between 1900 and 1960 began to show their age, there has been a strong demand for Artisan Remodelers to restore and renovate them. Since 1995, Home Restoration Services has been part of that group. We renovate, restore and build additions to these homes using a remodeling process which produces a seamless, high-quality end product that remains true to the Architectural style and era of the home.
A word about Green Remodeling. For many years, good remodelers have instinctively used techniques and products that are now considered "green". Home Restoration Services was among the first local remodelers to use MDF (medium density fiberboard) instead of lumber for our paint-grade custom trim and cabinet work. Since 1999, we have incorporated Icynene® or Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) insulation into our projects, greatly improving the energy performance of the wall systems we build; assuring comfort, energy cost savings and lasting value for the homeowner. We are known for recycling windows and doors, salvaging and recycling wood trim, using water-based adhesives/finishes at our project sites, and returning wood pallets to our suppliers instead of tossing them into the dumpster. We integrate green building practices into every project we build.
Home Restoration Services, Inc. is a proud member of these Organizations:
